About the role
We’re looking for a super-smart fraud strategy analyst who is great with numbers and loves problem-solving to come and have a big impact on our business. We want someone who has coding experience and uses it (we use Python and SQL) on a daily basis to generate insights from data and use that insight to drive meaningful change in our UK businesses. You’ll be working for an ambitious company, in a fast-paced environment, with minimal bureaucracy.
Your team's objectives
Prevent fraud losses on the UK Cards portfolio whilst balancing great customer experience
Use data and analytics to improve operational efficiency and streamline customer journeys
Automating reporting and intelligence sharing for key stakeholders
How you'll impact those objectives
Define the fraud strategy for our evolving portfolios
Discover insights from data and develop strategies to answer the big questions and address key business questions
Collaborate with a wider cross-functional team to implement your strategies in the market
Monitor and assess the success of implemented strategies, and continuously discover further opportunities for improvement
What we're looking for
A foundational understanding of SQL & Python, with the ability to apply them in day-to-day tasks
Proven experience (1 year +) in shaping fraud strategies
Understanding what truly matters and driving business outcomes
Have a natural curiosity and love to dig into things to understand how they work
