About the role

We’re looking for a super-smart fraud strategy analyst who is great with numbers and loves problem-solving to come and have a big impact on our business. We want someone who has coding experience and uses it (we use Python and SQL) on a daily basis to generate insights from data and use that insight to drive meaningful change in our UK businesses. You’ll be working for an ambitious company, in a fast-paced environment, with minimal bureaucracy.

Your team's objectives

  • Prevent fraud losses on the UK Cards portfolio whilst balancing great customer experience

  • Use data and analytics to improve operational efficiency and streamline customer journeys

  • Automating reporting and intelligence sharing for key stakeholders

How you'll impact those objectives

  • Define the fraud strategy for our evolving portfolios

  • Discover insights from data and develop strategies to answer the big questions and address key business questions

  • Collaborate with a wider cross-functional team to implement your strategies in the market

  • Monitor and assess the success of implemented strategies, and continuously discover further opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

  • A foundational understanding of SQL & Python, with the ability to apply them in day-to-day tasks

  • Proven experience (1 year +) in shaping fraud strategies

  • Understanding what truly matters and driving business outcomes

  • Have a natural curiosity and love to dig into things to understand how they work
