About the role
As our in-house content manager, you'll plan and produce content to support our SEO and GEO roadmap. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you'll combine deep knowledge about our products, industry and target audience, with high quality writing standards and tactics of great copywriting. You’ll embrace the cutting edge of AI tools in both your work, and in the strategy of what to focus on to be visible in AI response results.
You'll be part of a lean, high-performing team of operators. At Lendable, individual contributors wear many hats. We ask ourselves: what's the most impactful thing I can achieve this week? And then own that thing end to end. You'll own the full stack of SEO/GEO responsibilities, planning and creating authentic, useful and clear written content to widen our presence online and help customers to make the best financial decisions they can.
This role is perfect for someone who's comfortable researching what they don’t know, hungry to find the next best idea, and understands the nuances of good copywriting in financial services. You’ll demystify complex concepts for customers, and work with sophisticated analytic reporting, systematic testing frameworks, and modern growth strategies to drive growth of the business.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, naturally connects with our audience, and gets genuinely excited about telling stories that help people understand financial products. You'll need to become a true product expert who can speak authentically about credit building, expanding access to credit, and financial wellness.
What you'll be doing
On-Site Content Creation
Develop a pipeline, and deploy innovative content for credit cards, loans, car finance and other financial services across multiple brands
Source and build a suite of AI copywriters to help you produce drafts of content before refinement.
Edit and evolve content for 3rd party brand partners, collaborating with internal and external designers.
Research and transform customer review data and market insights into high-converting creative concepts.
Off-site Content Creation
Build and operate a highly efficient off-site content link buying program
Source, design and submit applications for industry awards across different themes and products.
Strategy
Become an expert on all Zable products: credit cards, loans, app features; understand the credit building journey and writing authentically about customer pain points
Stay current with fintech and consumer trends and competitive landscape
Research and implement the latest best practice in SEO / GEO writing including keywords and intents to focus on
Analyse and understand industry peer content strategies for valuable insights
Conduct research into our target audience to deepen our knowledge of applicable topics to write content about
What we're looking for
5+ years of hands-on SEO (and recently GEO) experience (strategy + execution) in finance
Experience in managing outreach for offsite content and link procurement programs
Experience in multi-brand or multi-product SEO content copywriting
Ability to brief, manage and evolve the output of AI copywriting tools
Strong understanding of SEO and GEO tools (e.g. GSC, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Profound etc.)
Familiarity with CMS platforms like Contentful
Experience with award applications or PR and research-led content
