Product Manager (Mexico)

  • Full Time (Permanent)
  • Product Mexico

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced, technical, and data-driven Full Stack Product Manager (FS-PM) to join our Mexico Credit Card Product team. We are launching our Credit Card in Mexico very soon and we are looking for our founding PM. As a member of the Product team, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our ambitious goals.

The Lenda credit card is a Mobile App-first product targeted at the credit builder customer segment in Mexico. We give customers the power to access the formal financial ecosystem and build their credit rating over time while offering them a flexible line of credit that meets their spending needs sustainably.

We think of a Full-Stack PM as a product leader who owns the entire product lifecycle end-to-end. From strategy and customer discovery to design, engineering execution, go-to-market, and post-launch optimization. Unlike traditional PMs who may specialize in a single stage, a full-stack PM is hands-on across strategy, UX, data, technology, and business outcomes. They combine customer empathy, product sense, and technical fluency with the ability to drive growth, adoption, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for builders and doers that get things done.

In practice, this means being equally comfortable:

  • Defining vision and business cases at the strategic level.

  • Collaborating with design and engineering on day-to-day execution.

  • Diving into metrics, data, and experiments to refine the product.

  • Coordinating with sales, marketing, and support to ensure adoption and success

Specifically, this role will cover all aspects of credit card product management, and you will be given the freedom to define new features and manage projects end to end, including:

  • Shaping our mobile App experience to empower customers to manage their finances

  • Optimising how we acquire new customers for speed and efficiency

  • Improving our underwriting capabilities to support best-in-class credit decisions

  • Building tools which maximise efficiency for our Customer Service and Fraud teams

  • Finding new ways to support customers who may be experiencing financial difficulty

PMs at Lendable work closely with teams such as Engineering, Credit, Growth and Operations to drive their product and take the business to the next level. It’s your job to break down complex tasks into bite sized deliverables and prioritise projects according to their maximum impact. While high quality delivery is a key part of this role, we encourage all our teams to look at the big picture and help Lendable grow.

What we're looking for

You have a strong background in product, analytics, or commercial roles within Tech, Finance, or Management Consulting. You’re hands-on and comfortable moving between strategy, execution, and analysis. Ideally, you bring:

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish

  • Deep understanding of the Mexican market and consumer

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to build MVPs, prototypes, and experiments for fast learning

  • Familiarity with Git and version control, and the ability to read and write basic code (vibe coding) in order to collaborate effectively with engineers and unblock yourself when needed.

  • Comfort using SQL and analytics platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Datadog to measure and optimize product performance

  • A bias for action: you move fast, ship quickly, and iterate based on feedback

  • High attention to detail and a focus on delivering a high-quality product experience

  • A data-driven mindset: you challenge assumptions (and welcome being challenged) to ensure decisions are backed by evidence

  • Deeply customer-centric: you start with the customer’s needs, pain points, and behaviors, and work backwards to design solutions that deliver real value.

  • Bonus: Experience in start-up/scale-up environments, credit cards, lending, or fintech

  • Bonus: You’ve built and launched software products yourself

What you’ll be working on

  • Own and drive the strategy, execution, and growth of our credit card product

  • Manage the delivery of our credit card proposition: define product roadmaps, break down complex problems into actionable steps, and prioritise ruthlessly based on impact

  • Build internal tools to automate manual work, streamline workflows, and make processes more efficient

  • Write basic code to unlock yourself and move faster, and build MVPs/prototypes to validate hypotheses quickly

  • Champion and showcase AI tool implementation across the product development cycle

  • Champion data-driven decision-making, measuring outcomes, and iterating quickly based on learnings

  • Work alongside other Product Managers and the Engineering Team to define and deliver the roadmap

  • Test and measure the impact of new releases and experiments

  • Liaise across teams (Data Science, Operations, Engineering, etc.) to deliver new features and ideas

  • Navigate a fast-paced, evolving fintech landscape, balancing innovation with compliance and risk management

  • Partner with Design to ensure our customers’ needs are always at the heart of what we’re building

How you will contribute to the Product Team’s objectives

  • Autonomy: You’re comfortable owning and managing an entire product line with minimal oversight.

  • Prioritisation: You independently prioritise features and ruthlessly focus on what drives the most impact.

  • Feature Creation: You turn business discussions and requirements into concrete, customer-focused features.

  • Team Leadership: You run stand-ups and planning sessions, keeping engineering aligned and productive.

  • Accountability: You own delivery and the commercial impact of your product.

  • Collaboration: You work closely with stakeholders across data science, engineering, compliance, and customer service, quickly assembling cross-functional teams to deliver.

  • Engineering Mindset: You optimise developer time, ensuring every line of code maximises business impact.

  • Anticipation: You spot bottlenecks and dependencies early, unblocking progress before issues arise.
Building: You’re a builder, hacker, and doer — creating internal tools, automating manual processes, and writing basic code to move faster and get things done.

  • Problem Solving: You break down complex business problems into manageable parts and consistently find practical solutions.

  • Analysis: You’re highly comfortable with numbers, using Excel and SQL to turn data into real-world actions.

  • Communication: You communicate clearly and adapt your style to suit any audience, from engineers to executives — and you’re humble enough to change your mind when presented with a better idea.

  • Working at Speed: You thrive under pressure, roll up your sleeves, and make things happen fast.
Process Management: You understand the software development lifecycle and know how product can support each stage.

  • Agility: You adapt quickly in an unstructured, fast-moving, and constantly evolving environment
