About the role
We’re looking for a highly analytical, commercially-minded Growth Analyst to join our U.S. team.
Working with a Senior Growth Manager, you will take direct responsibility for uncovering new opportunities, and designing and implementing strategies to maximise them - not just monitoring and analysing.
You’ll join a small, ambitious, fast-paced team of problem solvers — not traditional marketers. This role is best suited for someone who thrives on ownership, uses data to make decisions, and is comfortable translating analysis into action.
What you’ll be doing
Own the analysis and week-to-week optimization of key acquisition channels for US loans. You will be responsible for identifying areas of strong performance and headroom for improvement, designing a strategy based on your findings, and implementing required changes
Design, implement, and analyse price testing strategies to uncover volume and credit quality insights, and iteratively improve the competitive position of the US Loans product
Drive volume allocation decisions by analysing growth potential, credit quality, and ability to win across key acquisition channels. You will be responsible for ensuring we accurately forecast origination volume, and make the highest-value changes to ensure we hit our targets whilst maximising business performance
Uncover high-value growth opportunities by forming and prioritizing commercial hypotheses, and leveraging diverse internal and external datasets to validate them
Be hands-on with data. You will drive your own analysis, uncover insights, and generate recommendations using SQL and analytics tooling…not just review dashboards
What we’re looking for
Essential
Strong hands-on analytics experience — you are comfortable pulling data yourself and using it to drive business decisions (strong SQL experience required, Python is an added bonus)
A strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable decisions.
A collaborative, open approach and a willingness to challenge your own assumptions
Intellectual curiosity to understand all aspects of a credit business, and openness to learn from colleagues and peers
Relentless curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo
Desirable
Experience driving analysis-backed business decisions in the US personal loans market, ideally at a FinTech
Experience optimising direct marketing channels (direct mail, cross sell, etc.)
Experience working at or with a major U.S. affiliate (like Credit Karma)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the big three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days. We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do. We’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.
