About the role

As our Creative Strategist, you'll be the operational engine behind our growth at one of the UK's fastest-growing fintech companies. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you'll own creative production for paid and organic digital advertising channels.

You'll be part of a lean, high-performing team of operators. At Lendable, individual contributors wear many hats. We ask ourselves: what's the most impactful thing I can achieve this week? And then own that thing end to end. You'll lead creative production for Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads campaigns, develop winning creative concepts and build feedback loops to improve this engine.

This role combines creative strategy with performance marketing - perfect for someone who understands that creative is now the primary lever for D2C success and wants to build expertise across the full growth stack.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, spots creative opportunities others miss, and gets genuinely excited about turning creative concepts into scaled winners. You'll work with sophisticated creative reporting, systematic testing frameworks, and modern growth strategies.

What you’ll be doing

Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Develop innovative creative strategies for social media performance campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Work closely with growth team to craft compelling narratives that communicate our core USPs: acceptance and building credit

  • Create video content with a network of external and internal creators and build out our library of winning hooks and concepts

  • Draft, edit, and perfect scripts for both user-generated content style and polished creative formats

  • Transform customer review data and market insights into high-converting creative concepts

Performance-Driven Creative Development

  • Execute systematic creative testing approaches

  • Collaborate with static designer and performance team to ensure creative meets ambitious CAC targets and performance KPIs

  • Monitor creative performance data and refine strategies based on conversion metrics and customer acquisition costs

  • Scale winning creative concepts across multiple platforms and formats

Market Intelligence & Customer Research

  • Mine customer reviews and feedback to identify messaging opportunities

  • Keep current with fintech creative trends, competitor strategies, and platform algorithm changes

  • Conduct research into our target audience and conduct customer interviews

  • Identify creative angles that resonate with customers

What we’re looking for

Core Creative Experience

  • Demonstrated success in performance creative strategy within D2C, fintech, or financial services

  • Exceptional ability to create video content for social media advertising that drives measurable results

  • Strong command over scriptwriting, dialogue, tone of voice, and content framing for conversion-focused campaigns

  • Deep understanding of creating resonant content for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube advertising

  • Combines a creative mind with analytical rigor

Performance Marketing Understanding

  • Solid grasp of the importance of creative in modern performance marketing

  • Experience working within CAC targets and performance KPIs for creative campaigns

  • Understanding of attribution challenges and creative measurement frameworks

  • Ability to balance creative vision with aggressive growth targets

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Video editing and production capabilities (smartphone-native content creation preferred)

  • Comfortable with creative performance analysis and pattern identification

  • Understanding of A/B testing principles for creative optimisation

  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and creative performance measurement
